Welcome to the Finger Lakes, Nancy! Down the road Rte 20 in Auburn, we have artists and web developers and young theater professionals moving here for many of the same reasons. Enjoy discovering the natural beauty, the food & wine & crafted beer right where it's grown and made, the laid-back lifestyle. Next summer we'll have the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival, too!

Thanks for this article. I love the tone. And I love the humor. I especially appreciate your willingness to be imperfect as a life coach. And the advice (throw softer things) is really great in that it doesn't say 'anger is bad and if you were spiritual and evolved enough you wouldn't have it.'

There seems to be a proliferation of guru's out there giving off the impression they are above and beyond life. And there are lots of people out there seeking gurus who put that impression out there. So business is booming in the Guru industry. I prefer the tangibility of real life and I appreciate your take on it.

Best Wishes-

What a great article, nicely done! I loved how you captured Martin's personality (Martin of Cafe Martin, of course). I love going in to visit him. You really captured the personalities of the cafes and their owners. Love it, Chermelle.
